A Virtual Tour

The Farm Store

A new chapter

Our friends would come over and pick up farm products that were stored in our garage.
“Come on around into the back yard,” I’d say, “go into the garage and help yourself to what you need.”
It was great…people walking in on your life and enjoying the bundle of cats, Dixie the farm dog or an orphan lamb. We often stopped to chat awhile out on the back porch, but the setup wasn’t ideal. We started talking about how we needed a building somewhere in the yard that would be easier on all of us. A place for the fresh products to come into and a place for the jars to stay and not be transported back and forth. Tada!  A whole bunch of time, money and effort… We are now loving our new little store. A store? Not really but a Farm Stand, I guess. A place for our wonderful friends to drop in, get their order and look around at other items we offered. We are adding new things every week. Grass finished beef & lamb, raised right here on the farm. A few kitchen gadgets, fresh cheese from Wisconsin, my homemade tallow balm for skin care and other products we are stocking. The maple syrup is also from Wisconsin and local honey is coming shortly. Let’s not forget about the free-range fresh eggs. We are excited and we are so thankful for you all!  Come on over and check it out… The milk is available only to those that are on our herd-share program. But other products are open to all!
